BBW 2.0 review by @squatasaurus_rex The long awa BBW 2.0 review by @squatasaurus_rex The long awaited, much anticipated Big Betty White has returned to our beloved mouth sockets from the absolute madman, Bunny Boy! The OG BBW was one of the most coveted and limited releases from Bunny, and the rumblings of a re-release were music to my ears. This beauty was exclusively released from our friends over at Luxury, so it was here in force! Let’s dive in! So the blend of the ”Saint Betty” is as follows: Wrapper: San Andres Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan Very much expecting this to be chocolaty with an earthy, spicy punch. Pre-light notes are deep and dark, featuring musty earth, cocoa, and leather tack on the wrapper, with more muted earthiness and black pepper on the cold draw. Lighting up, you immediately note the bready, cocoa nuances starting strong. There’s a bit of molasses alongside the black pepper on the retro. Pretty simple, yet delicious start the the BBW 2.0! Draw was good, and as you can see construction was great, holding onto that ash well into the midpoint of the smoke. Speaking of, the only major addition to the profile by the midpoint was a sea salt note, that, when mixed in with the other notes from the beginning of the cigar, really gave me prominent notes of chocolate covered pretzels. Really turning a corner into a more decadent, complex smoke! Profile wise, the BBW 2.0 was at a medium +. Nearing the end of the smoke, there’s some bourbon barrel notes on the retro with the pepper, molasses becomes more prominent, and otherwise the notes remained the same. This was a fantastic smoke! I smoked 5 of these to really flesh out all of the complexities to it, there were definitely some deeper notes that required more thought to really pinpoint amongst the others.
